[Café] Hama-Jikan (濱時間) in Chigasaki, Kanagawa
Hama-Jikan (濱時間) |
There is a cafe & shop called Hama-Jikan (濱時間), close to the Shinto shrine of Yagumo Jinja, in the Nango District in Chigasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture. The building was originally built in the early days of the Showa period and was previously used as a bento factory.
Ordered their seasonal menu item:
Fruit Cream Anmitsu (フルーツクリームあんみつ) |
As shown in the photo above, the "fruit" was strawberry with vanilla ice cream today. The small jug in the bottom right contains kuromitsu. Lunch menu items are also available.
The shop mainly sells Japanese tableware, fabric products, antiques, and some food products.
The second story of the cafe & shop building is available as a rental space. There is also a lodging facility for a group of up to five to stay.
Recently, this site was used to film a scene for a TV program on NHK's educational channel.
