Kanagawa Waterworks Museum (神奈川県水道記念館)

The Kanagawa Waterworks Museum or Kanagawa Waterworks Memorial Hall (神奈川県水道記念館), in Samukawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, opened in 1984 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Kanagawa Water Supply, the first prefectural water supplying system in Japan.  The museum building was originally built as a water-pumping facility in 1936.

The front of the building is organized as a park.  There is also a monument standing outside the former main entrance.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions, only the lobby is open.  The reopening is still TBD.
