The Japanese Garden in Takasuna Ryokuchi (高砂緑地)

There is a park with a Japanese garden inside a park called Takasuna Ryokuchi (高砂緑地), across the road from the Catholic Chigasaki Church, which opened in 1984.  In 1991, the tea house "Shouraian (松籟庵)" opened with the donation from Kohachi Iwata, former chairman of Nagasakiya.

Operating hours of the garden are 9:00 ~ 16:30 and closed on Monday (if Monday is a holiday, the closest weekday) & Dec. 29 ~ Jan. 3.
