Anpuku-ji Temple (安福寺)

There is a Buddhist temple (Shingon-shu Buzan-ha) of Anpukuji Temple (安福寺), officially Kongozan Muryojuin Ampuku-ji Temple (金剛山無量寿院安福寺), in Tsukuba, Ibaraki Prefecture.  It is said that the temple was originally built during the mid-Kamakura period.  It was restored in 1469 by a priest named Ryoei (良栄) who also became the first chief priest after the restoration.
